19 Stephanie Tye Memorial Golf Outings 2002-12-05 Updated July 23, 2005
The sun was shining, the beer was cold and many familiar faces attended the 5th Annual Stephanie Tye Memorial Golf Outing. Over the last five years, funds raised in Stephanies name have exceeded $50,000 for Make-A-Wish of Michigan.
This success of these events can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of the Tye family. Most participants are loyal patrons of Chesleys, as well as the Wayne Assembly Autoworkers.
Stephanie Tye was a precious teen who lost her life to bone cancer at the tender age of fifteen. Tim and Michele Tye are patrons of Chesleys who received much support from the customers and staff during their family crisis. We are a tight knit bunch who takes care of our own.
To learn more about Make-A-Wish, you may call the Michigan Chapter at 734-953-0040 or visit www.wishmich.org.
Thanks to all who have participated in Stephanie Tye Fundraisers. Stephanie, you are missed but not forgotten.
